What do you hate to do? Is it to make a sales call? Talk to an angry client? Or have to do the math and change something or fire someone?

Whatever it is, doing things you hate will help you grow. And you will do them horribly in the beginning, you can be sure of that. The more you get used to doing things you hate the better you will get at doing them. Just don’t take this post as advice to fire your whole team.

The reason we hate to do things is that we suck at them. When we get some experience and don’t suck as badly, we tolerate them. When we get used to them they become second nature.
