You don’t have to reinvent the wheel

It’s common for a new business owner to want to start something new. Something that none of us has ever seen. But it’s not a safe bet.

The issue here is that people view things that have been done before as obsolete. If there are still people buying the product or service there’s a market for it. The fact that you have a lot of competition just means that there is awareness in the market for what you have to offer.

When starting any project you have to go with what you know. If you like to cook do that if you like to sing do that. There will never be a shortage of customers in your chosen field, so don’t let that stop you.

In addition, you have to make sure you’re right in front of your competition. Many small business owners avoid competition. That’s not the right call. If your competitor is advertising in a certain area, you have to be there otherwise you lost business. Even if your competition is more experienced you still have something to offer.

Maybe he’s charging more, maybe you can do a better job. If you never try you will never get ahead.
