It’s easy to get excited when setting goals, you want a million dollars and a big TV, and a sports car etc. You’re setting yourself up to fail, not because you can’t get it but because you’re not setting up milestones.

I’m sure you can get anything you want, you just have to pace yourself. You’re not going to run 100 miles after not running for ten years, are you? So why do it with your business. You need to feel that you accomplish something along the way.

Here’s an exercise that works for me. With your morning coffee write down three things you accomplished lately. This helps you feel like your day is already a win and takes the load off for the rest of the day. When you’re not pressured to deliver you get more done.

I hope you found this post helpful, if so like it and share it with your friends. And while you’re at it, check out my ebook ‘level up your business’ a guide to starting your own business the right way.
