Reading success stories can give you hope. But you don’t always know what that person had to go through to get there. Yes, you here That he had a tough time, that he lost a lot of money. But most of the time you pay attention only to the upside.

The truth is, every day is a new battle. No matter if your small business owner, an online business or a CEO of a large company. Nothing is ever handed to you on a silver platter.

Pay attention to the small stuff

More times the not, if you dig deep into these stories you will find hundreds if not thousands of corrections that were made along the way. The story of Thomas Edison in a number of corrections he made before he was able to create the light bulb. Is a good example how we focus on the wrong thing.

We all know he succeeded at the end. But this story is not about that, it’s about his 1,000 attempts. Your business’s path is unknown, and the way to find it is to make small corrections. Think of it as steering a ship, you can’t make a U-turn. You have to make small, slow corrections.

Every one of those small corrections you making your business is another step forward to its success. You can’t give up just because you had a bad day, month or year. Most of the famous business you hear about as an overnight success actually take about 10 to 15 years to find their path.

Current location and destination

When you start you know where you are (your current location). And you know what your goal is (your destination). Your only focus should be on the path and what keeps you on it or takes you away from it. I know it sounds too simple but life is simple, we complicate the hell out of it. So keep things simple and take it one step at a time. Don’t give up, trust me you’re not the only one who’s got it hard. We all do, the difference between the winners and the losers is that the winners didn’t give up.
