what small businesses are the most successful

What would you consider success? Is it getting rich? Living a comfortable life? Or would you like to become famous? Success means different things to different people, but I think success means something that will make you happy.

So how do you create a successful business?

Your first questions should be “if I had more money than I can spend but still wanted to do something. What would I do?” One of the biggest mistakes people make is chasing money. Chasing money has many forms, it could be going to law school knowing you hate it and doing it just because you heard the lawyers make a lot of money. It could be something like copping a business in a field you know nothing about just because you see customers lining around the block.

If you don’t like what you do, you’re not successful no matter how much money you make.

Now that you know what you want to do, how do you get people to pay you money? Let’s say you like baking cookies, you need to get people to try your product. You do this for two reasons, one is to find out what your clients like and the second is to see if enough of them like it and want to buy.

You can give friends trays of cookies you bakes with business cards and ask them to give them out at work. You could invite some friend or friends over for a tasting, like a topper ware party. It doesn’t matter if you don’t make sales in the beginning your just showing the world you exist.

Now comes the grind, getting customers and expanding your business. It might seem oversimplified but it really is that easy. You just need to make sure you’re making profits and taking care of your customers. The rest will just happen by itself.

I hope you found this post helpful, if so like it and share it with your friends. And while you’re at it, check out my ebook ‘level up your business’ a guide to starting your own business the right way.
